"Parece ser uma crença geral de que a vontade de Deus é tornar as coisas desagradáveis para nós, como tomar degustação ruim medicina quando estamos doentes, ou indo ao dentista. Alguém precisa nos dizer que o nascer do sol também é a vontade de Deus. Há o tempo da colheita, a colheita que proporcionaria comida e roupas para nós, sem a qual a vida não poderia ser sustentada na Terra. Deus ordenou as estações - elas são sua vontade. De fato, as coisas boas na vida superam o mau. Há mais amanheceres do que ciclones."

It seems to be a general belief that the will of God is to make things distasteful for us, like taking bad-tasting medicine when we are sick, or going to the dentist. Somebody needs to tell us that the sunrise is also God's will. There is the time of harvest, the harvest which will provide food and clothes for us, without which life could not be sustained on earth. God ordered the seasons-they are his will. In fact, the good things in life far outweigh the bad. There are more sunrises than cyclones.
