"Eu contratei Bob em Terrytoons. Ele era meu animador assistente e depois se tornou um próprio animador. Ele tinha acabado de vir de Boston com sua família e era um desenhista brilhante, bem como um grande guitarrista de jazz. Tivemos muitas noites divertidas na vila de Greenwich juntos e depois pendurando em Los Angeles. Bob trabalhou em Fritz o gato, tráfego pesado, coonskin e nos magos. Estou terrivelmente triste por sua morte e sentirei falta dele."

I hired Bob at Terrytoons. He was my assistant animator, and then became an animator himself. He had just come from Boston with his family and was a brilliant draftsman as well as a great jazz guitarist. We had lots of fun nights in Greenwich Village together and then later hanging in LA. Bob worked on Fritz the Cat , Heavy Traffic , Coonskin , and on Wizards . I am terribly saddened by his passing and will miss him dearly.
