"Recentemente houve uma tendência para aplicar o termo "bullying" a qualquer tipo de conflito no trabalho, por exemplo, excesso de trabalho e longas horas. Embora alguns comportamentos de bullying possam estar presentes nessas questões, na minha opinião, isso dilui e desvaloriza o termo "bullying no local de trabalho", que deve ser usado apenas para os casos mais graves de conflito envolvendo um valentão serial. Se não houver um valentão serial envolvido, provavelmente não é intimidação que você está lidando com."

Recently there's been a trend to apply the term "bullying" to any kind of conflict at work, for example overwork and long hours. Although some bullying behaviours may be present in these issues, in my view this dilutes and devalues the term "workplace bullying" which should be used only for the more serious cases of conflict involving a serial bully. If there isn't a serial bully involved, it's probably not bullying you're dealing with.
