Eles ficariam surpresos ao saber como a bela Antártica me pareceu, com suas ondas de gelo em cem tons de azul e branco, seu céu preto de inverno, sua roda extática de estrelas. Eles nunca entenderiam como as luzes da cúpula me receberam à distância, ou com que frequência dançei e cantasse e ri aqui com meus amigos. E como eu não tinha medo."
