"Se Deus faz com que o homem esteja doente, a doença deve ser boa, e o seu oposto, a saúde, deve ser mal, por tudo o que ele faz é bom e ficará para sempre. Se a transgressão da lei de Deus produz a doença, é certo estar doente; E não podemos, se faríamos, e não deveríamos, se pudéssemos, anular os decretos da sabedoria. É a transgressão de uma crença da mente mortal, não de uma lei da matéria nem da mente divina, o que causa a crença da doença. O remédio é verdade, não importa, a verdade que a doença é irreal."

If God causes man to be sick, sickness must be good, and its opposite, health, must be evil, for all that He makes is good and will stand forever. If the transgression of God's law produces sickness, it is right to be sick; and we cannot if we would, and should not if we could, annul the decrees of wisdom. It is the transgression of a belief of mortal mind, not of a law of matter nor of divine Mind, which causes the belief of sickness. The remedy is Truth, not matter,--the truth that disease is unreal.
