"... fielmente e tenuamente você deve resistir aos hereges em defesa da própria fé verdadeira e de vida, que a igreja recebeu - os apóstolos e transmitidos para seus filhos. Pois o senhor de todos deu a seus apóstolos o poder do evangelho, através de quem também conhecemos a verdade, isto é, a doutrina do Filho de Deus: a quem também fez o Senhor declarar: 'Aquele que te ouve Mim; E aquele que te despreza, despreza-me, e quem me mandou "(Lc. 10:16)."

For the Lord of all gave to His apostles the power of the Gospel, through whom also we have known the truth, that is, the doctrine of the Son of God: to whom also did the Lord declare: 'He who hears you, hears Me; and he who despises you, despises Me, and Him who sent Me' (Lk. 10:16).
