"Todo mundo deve evitar familiaridade ou amizade com qualquer pessoa suspeita de pertencer à alvenaria ou a grupos afiliados. Conhece-os por suas frutas e evitá-los. Cada familiaridade deve ser evitada, não apenas com aqueles líderes impiáveis que promovem abertamente o caráter da seita, mas também com aqueles que se escondem sob a máscara de tolerância universal, respeito por todas as religiões, e o desejo de reconciliar as máximas do Evangelho com os da revolução. Esses homens buscam conciliar a Cristo e Belial, a Igreja de Deus e o Estado sem Deus."

Everyone should avoid familiarity or friendship with anyone suspected of belonging to masonry or to affiliated groups. Know them by their fruits and avoid them. Every familiarity should be avoided, not only with those impious libertines who openly promote the character of the sect, but also with those who hide under the mask of universal tolerance, respect for all religions, and the craving to reconcile the maxims of the Gospel with those of the revolution. These men seek to reconcile Christ and Belial, the Church of God and the state without God.
